PODIUM is a SESAR Horizon 2020 large scale demonstration project. PODIUM is currently performing demonstrations of U-space services (registrations, flight planning, authorisation workflows, situational awareness (with ADS-B and GSM-based trackers), conflict detection, no-fly zones for multiple VLOS and BVLOS flights at 5 sites: Hans Christian Andersen airport, Odense; The Netherlands RPAS Test Centre, Marknesse; Groningen Airport Eelde, the Netherlands; The Drones Paris Region Cluster, Bretigny; and Rodez-Aveyron airport. What works well? What could be improved? The project coordinator, Peter Alty, will share the project’s initial results and insights with the conference. Attendees are very welcome to connect with the project’s LinkedIn site – @U-space PODIUM – to get the latest news!
